Memory Lane of Ubud
A blogger, kai, wrote on the sand when she visited a beach recently. Her picture reminds me of a lane in Ubud, Bali, where visitors had left their marks. Unfortunately, I only went to Ubud in 2005, and there was no more space for me to leave my name
I have yet to go to Bali....
ReplyDeleteprincess,
ReplyDeleteAirAsia's return airfare to Bali is less than RM1k.
khengsiong, but I heard the beaches in Malaysia much, much better. Do you think one need to join a tour package to go there? Or do backpacking?
ReplyDeleteprincess,
ReplyDeleteI agree that Malaysia has many great beaches. But Bali also has other attractions...
I personally backpacked to Bali. Package tour wouldn't have brought me to the Memory Lane. I did, however, join a half-day tour to the Tanah Lot Sea Temple and another day tour to the volcanoes.
Well, write on the cement would last very very long. You can always go to Bali again n leave your name there. I only make writing on the sand last longer in the photo, that's what I could do...
ReplyDeletekai,
ReplyDeleteThe lane was laid in 1994. I went there 11 years later. The cement was hardened...
oh, I thought the cement lane was built from time to time.
