This time, the model was Jenny, whom I also had a chance to shoot last year. She happened to play violin, and she brought her own set for use as prop.
Sadly, the lighting was harsh, and not many pictures turn out good. Here are two OK shots…
P/S Do anyone knows of any lenglui who play Chinese pipa (琵琶) or guzheng (古筝)?
Wow...this shot is really gorgeous. :D
ReplyDeleteNice shots! I know of Chinese pipa and guzheng players but they are not leng luis, haha!!
ReplyDeletei learn gu zheng lesson 1 (didn't finish the lesson) when i Form 4, i bought a gu zheng as well. now the gu zheng is a "gu tong" in my house liao. that's was the big money i wasted when i was young.
ReplyDelete这二张比较好看,你想找美女拍照,去中国啰!呵呵呵。。

ReplyDeleteBeautiful portraits. Where was the location? Reading from various sources on outdoor portraiture, it seemed like it's a rule that any form of harsh shadows on face etc must be eliminated isn't?
ReplyDeletewitch
ReplyDeleteGuzheng is a kind of music instrument. You can google to learn more.
Piano. I wish to, but I'm afraid we need a big hall.
Mei Teng
ReplyDeleteThe pics were taken in Lake Garden. Didn't really like the place.
The shadow thing is pretty subjective. Some people think a portrait without shadow is a bad one. But it is generally accepted that harsh shadow for male subjects is fine.
i prefer the first one...is she really playing or just pan ye?
ReplyDelete认真的女人最美 haha
u know blogger eiling? she plays guzheng...maybe u can approach her
