香港“边缘化”的另一原因，是珠三角的广东当局早已放弃了九十年代还跟香港“经济互补、前店后居”的政策，而是“你搞甚么，我也搞甚么”，直接竞争。正如欧美许多城镇，一名华人开了一家餐馆，生意兴隆，不久必有另一个华人加入竞争，同一条街抢生意，最后互相割价，宁愿“揽住一齐死”，也不会“揾食行远啲”，另行发展其他的事业。

大马一些马来领袖，认为华人善于经商，就呼吁马来人向华人学习。其实华人看到那一门生意赚钱，便一窝蜂去搞，到了市场饱和，就“揽住一齐死”。不信？看看星马两地的 kopitiam 和港式餐厅吧。
相反的，美国人懂得进军少竞争的 niche market，管理大师 Michael Porter 的市场策略，其中一条就是 “product differentiation”，或产品区别。要学经商，还是向美国佬偷师吧。
这样也很热闹啊....:)

强者生存。做得好的话不怕与人竞争。说回kopitiam，顾客分得出哪间好，哪间以后不必再去的~呵呵~

没有啦，有感而发而已。
ReplyDelete有些copycat 的 kopitiam 装修设计菜单都抄得十足，已没有创意可言。东西还要差的可以，让客人有被骗的感觉。

ReplyDeleteI noticed too the Chinese love to have the same product sold in one street: i.e "shoes" street, "clothes" street etc. I often joked bout that when I was in China.
