I have to say some portions of Chinese people are ugly. I had recently experienced the rudeness of Chinese people in the mainland. They are loud talking, smoking in public places, driving recklessly, etc. But that happens to all races in this world, including American, British, etc.
sinji I don't doubt there are strong points in Chinese culture. The problem is: before Qin Dynasty, it was 百家争鸣. Even in Tang Dynasty, Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism 三强鼎立. Unfortunately, since Song Dynasty it has been 独尊孔家.

It is true that all races have their ugly side. But Chinese - including Chinese Malaysians - are particularly proud of their 5000 years culture.

ReplyDelete中国五千年流传下来的文化当中无可否认有优秀的地方，连马来人在国会里都会引用孙子兵法。只是崛起得快，大家都着重于工业科技的发展，却忘了中华文化里的道德。
是英雄重英雄嘛，就不知沈老欣不欣赏李敖的作品咧？呵呵~
